There are not many cities in America where you will ever see an authentic mandolin orchestra.
Only one is the oldest mandolin orchestra in the world and it’s based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The CMSA is Coming to Milwaukee!

The CMSA En Masse Orchestra - 130 mandolin and mandolin-family musicians!

The 2017 Convention of the Classical Mandolin Association of America (CMSA) is in Milwaukee - Oct 25-29. 

In addition to some 130 or so mandolinists coming from around the world, there are three concerts that are free and open to the public.

All concerts are in downtown Milwaukee, at the InterContinental Hotel at 139 E Kilbourn. The concerts are in the ballroom on the second floor.

All concerts start at 7:30.

  • Thursday Oct 26, 7:30 pm: Julien Martineau & Rene Izquierdo; Alon Sariel & Rene Izquierdo
  • Friday Oct 27, 7:30 pm: Julien Martineau; Misha Litvin & Stas Venglevski; the Milwaukee Mandolin Orchestra
  • Saturday Oct 28, 7:30 pm: Alon Sariel; the CMSA En Masse Orchestra (pictured above)
